Job Summary
The purpose of the Business Administrator role is to run mission-critical procedures and supporting continual improvement for the Hub. Working closely with the Executive Directors and touching all areas of the business, this is a high-profile and important role that requires high levels of confidentiality, professionalism, and the ability to work to a high standard.
The Hub has over 200 member organisations with many thousands of contacts in our database with all our delivery dependent on the accuracy of this database. Maintaining, developing and improving this database and its associated systems is at the heart of this role.
This role is office based, but staff work from home typically 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining the Customer Relationship Management, member engagement and stakeholder management processes.
- Administration of the CRM systems, database, and Microsoft Entra platform.
- Administering meetings by ensuring accurate scheduling, sending correct attendee invitations, and maintaining engagement tracking for all sessions.
- Manage the membership process and associated administration, collaborating closely with the Membership Manager to oversee all aspects of membership applications and annual renewals.
- Provide administrative support for site visits and webinars, ensuring accurate record-keeping and seamless coordination.
- Manage internal Outlook inboxes, ensuring queries are promptly routed and coordination across teams remains efficient.
- Support the planning and coordination of internal and external events, including attending events as required, which may occasionally involve working outside of standard hours.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of work, supporting the Office Manager and wider team with activity of the various workstreams of the Hub.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the organisation by identifying opportunities and challenges and developing ways to overcome them.
Skills and Attributes
- Proven office experience or administrative experience in a professional setting.
- Proficient in MS Office, Microsoft Excel with a good understanding of Microsoft SharePoint.
- Comfortable to work and communicate with managers to CEO level
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively, accurate with attention to detail.
- Able to establish, evaluate and improve systems and processes.
- Data entry experience with high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
