Luthmores compact, battery-enabled electric boiler meets this challenge, delivering on demand powerful hot water and central heating from a combi-sized unit without the need for an external unit or separate hot water cylinder.

We’re inviting Future Home Hub members to our Chippenham showroom to see for themselves how our battery-enabled combi boiler is meeting the needs of housing developers, social housing associations, energy companies as well as to consumers via their installers.

We’ll explore how the Luthmore One offers a practical alternative for properties where installing a heat pump presents significant constraints, and how it could support the wider transition to zero-carbon heating.

During the visit, we’ll explore:

  • The challenge of smaller homes: Why space, layout and site constraints can make low-carbon heating difficult to specify
  • A different approach to electric heating: How battery-enabled boiler technology works and where it could offer an alternative to conventional heating systems.
  • Energy performance and the Luthmore technical note: The role of product performance, SAP modelling and property-specific assessment in supporting energy performance objectives.
  • Applications across the housing sector: Opportunities in new-build developments, apartments, social housing and existing properties with limited installation options.

The visit will combine an introduction to our technology with an opportunity to discuss the practical realities of delivering low-carbon homes. We want to share what we’re developing, explore where it could make a difference and hear directly from the professionals facing these challenges on the ground.

Who should attend?

Housebuilders, residential developers, social housing providers, architects, building services consultants and sustainability, specification and technical professionals involved in the delivery of low-carbon homes.

At Luthmore, our focus is on making zero-carbon heating possible in more homes. We look forward to welcoming the Future Home Hub and industry colleagues for a practical discussion about the challenges, opportunities and solutions that will help move the sector forward.
