Expression of interest: Future Homes Standard Implementation groups

The Hub is seeking participants to join Implementation Groups (IGs), which will address strategic priorities to support the Embodied Carbon and Resource Efficiency Board (ECREB) mission to reduce embodied carbon and improve resource efficiency in the design, construction and whole life of new homes and developments.

Implementation Groups will address strategic priorities.

To achieve this, the Board will identify the key barriers that exist across the sector to implementing the Transition Plan, and the Hub will set up Implementation Groups (IGs) to deep dive into different aspects.

IGs will meet independently and report into the Board. They will identify and track the necessary actions for ensuring successful implementation, develop and prioritise remedial or additional actions to the Board as required, and report progress. Many of the issues will overlap and interact, so IGs will coordinate.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from those wishing to play an active role in the IGs.

Initially, two Implementation Groups (IGs) will be established to provide the IB with specialist support. These are: 'Measurement' and ‘Scaling up market ready solutions’. We are seeking a broad range of expertise from across the sector, with priority given to Hub members and associate members. Time commitment for each of these groups will be 1-2 online meetings per quarter, plus additional input as needed.

If you'd like to join either of these groups, please fill in our expression of interest form.
